UVMatrix CW filters the air removing up to 99.97% of allergens and particulates as small a .3 microns (with HEPA option), kills airborne bacteria and viruses including flu viruses and includes UV powered ReFresh™ photocatalytic odor treatment.
The CW all-in-one system is designed for ceiling or wall mounting. It processes and improves the air in more ways than any other air cleaning system, addressing the three most critical indoor pollution issues: allergens/respiratory irritants, bacteria, viruses and other airborne pathogens, and odors.
MERV 11 rated ProgressiveMedia™ filtration
The first stage in the system is a layered and pleated air filter that effectively captures and holds more dirt, allergens and other debris, than any filter in its class achieving 85% efficiency on particles as small as 3 microns. The continuous strand, hypo-allergenic premium filter can be used as the main filter, or as a pre-filter for a HEPA filter.
Available HEPA filtration for more stringent filtering
The UVMatrix CW-Series is sized to recess into a ceiling or mount on a wall.
For effective capture of particulates as small as .3 microns add the HEPA filter option. The genuine HEPA cartridge can last as long as five years when used with the MERV 11 pre-filter (with typical six month replacement schedule).
Germicidal UVC air treatment
The next stage in the process is the advanced UV light system. As air is circulated through the CW unit, it is exposed to a high dose of UVC light that will kill millions of microorganisms on each pass. Driven by our efficient ESP™ electronic-smart power supply the Phillips compact-twin UV lamp is optimized for operation and will last up to 9000 hours (or approximately 1 year).
Photocatalytic VOC Odor Reduction
The odor control module breaks up the molecules that cause hundreds of odors from volatile organic compounds or VOCs—anything organic, from pet odors to new carpet, construction, and musty smells to food odors—and leaves them as harmless, odorless components. The module uses UV light energy to activate a grid coated with titanium dioxide that reacts with VOCs (both in odors and in living microorganisms increasing the system’s germicidal effectiveness).
A variable blower speed control is provided to adjust the system for every situation
